Man charged after missing teen found at Butler County residenceDecember 15, 2023 WNKY Staff, Share This StoryFacebookTwitteremailPrintLinkedinRedditMORGANTOWN, Ky.  A 26-year-old man is facing charges after police say they found a missing 15-year-old female from Florida with him at a Morgantown, Kentucky residence.The Morgantown Police Department says it responded to a call about the missing juvenile on Tuesday, leading them to meet with Child Protective Services at the reported residence.Police say the male subject was identified as Pedro Gomez of Morgantown.According to police, Gomez said he had traveled to the teen   residence in Florida before taking her back to Morgantown without consent from her guardian.CPS took the 15-year-old for a temporary lodge until the legal guardian is able to pick her up from Florida, authorities say.Gomez was arrested.
