SAN DIEGO  KGTV  鈥?A driver was arrested in connection with a collision in Old Town that left a pedestrian dead early Wednesday morning.Ca stanley cup becher lifornia Highway Patrol officials said officers were dispatched to southbound Interstate 5 near Old Town Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. due to a body found in the middle of the roadway.Officers believe the unidentified pedestrian was struck by a car and then died at the scene.A short distance away, officers found a white Volkswagen vehicle with its windshield caved in.The driver was questioned and then arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.The CHP is investigating the incident.                Copyright 2024 . The Washington Post has settled a libel lawsuit with Kentucky high school student Nicholas Sandmann, who was at the center of a viral video controversy in 2019.Sandmann sued several news media outlets after their coverage falsely painted his as a racist, wearing a Make America Great Again hat during an interaction with a Native American activist near the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. Judge William O. Bertelsman previously dismissed the lawsuit, but later reinstated the case, after he reviewed an amended complaint.On Friday, S stanley cup andmann celebrated the settlement on Twitter.            On 2/19/19, I filed $250M defamation lawsuit against Washington Post. Today, I turned 18  WaPo settled my lawsuit. Thanks to @ToddMcMurtry  @LLinWood for their advocacy. Thanks to my family  millions of you who have stood your ground by suppor stanley flask ting me.
