2020年我国青光眼患病人数达2100万，其中致盲人数达567万。

北京中医药大学东方医院眼科副主任医师苏艳表示，

青光眼是一种终身的眼病，及早发现、及早治疗才是关键。

要了解青光眼，首先需要知道什么是眼内压。

原发性青光眼一般是双眼发病，一只眼患病，另一只眼也要及时检查。

值得注意的是，从襁褓中的婴儿到年逾古稀的老人均有可能患上青光眼，

而老年人更常见，青光眼的患病率随着年龄增长而增加。
