韩国中央防疫对策本部23日通报，截至23日零时，

韩国单日新增新冠确诊病例超过49万例，累计确诊病例超过1000万例。

韩联社报道称，这意味着约五分之一的韩国民众感染或者曾经感染过新冠病毒。

据最新通报，韩国单日新增新冠确诊病例490881例，累计确诊病例10427247例；

新增死亡病例291例，累计死亡13432例。现存重症病例1084例。

韩国国务总理金富谦23日主持防疫会议时表示，今后一到两周将成为韩国应对新冠疫情危机的转折点。

韩国疾病管理厅厅长郑银敬21日在记者会上表示，

近期变异新冠病毒奥密克戎毒株BA.2亚型的检出率大幅增加，

这或使本轮疫情拐点延迟出现，疫情形势或进一步恶化。

韩国政府自21日起放宽部分防疫限制措施，将私人聚会人数上限从6人增至8人，

同时咖啡馆、餐馆等公共场所每日最晚营业时间仍维持在23时。

调整后的防疫措施将执行至下月3日。
