The City of Cambridge is falling in line with the Region of Waterloo and its sister cities.After the region stated on Sept. 15 that its staff, including volunteers and students, would have to disclose their vaccination status by Sept. 27, Cambridge has followed suit.Kitchener and Waterloo put the same requirements in place shortly after the region.               ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW                           stanley flask               The implementation of a mandatory vaccine policy will make it necessary for employees, council members, volunteers, part-time workers and contractors to be double vaccinated against COVID-19.The vaccine policy has been endorsed by council and will require that staff provide verification of full COVID-19 vaccination. OSWEGO 鈥?After a year of construction on a new field station, SUNY Oswegos Rice Creek invites the public to a welcome-back afternoon of events titled  Celebrating Science at Rice Creek  on Oct. 12, to highlight science research, programming and fun with nature at the popular 400-acre living laboratory.SUNY Oswegos Rice Creek Field station has invited the public to attend  Celebrating Science at Rice Creek  from noon to 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 12. The Oct. 12 program will feature a multitude of events to highlight the 400-acre facilitys research and programming, including a Rice Creek Reflections presentation at 3 p.m. titled  The Great Lakes Watershed: Botanical Crossroads of a Continent.
