Sheriff Hightower responds to man   rolling billboard regarding Hightower   participation in equality marchesAugust 28, 2020 Krista Garrison, Share This StoryFacebookTwitteremailPrintLinkedinRedditBOWLING GREEN, Ky.  Warren County Sheriff Brett Hightower released a video online commenting on a rolling billboard that has been making its way around town.Ron Ford, a former candidate for sheriff who has run multiple times for the office, built stanley taza  a rolling billboard that he tows behind his truck to express his opinion of Hightowers participation in Black Lives Matter peaceful protests in Bowling Green in June.Hightower defended his support for the equality movement and released a video expressing his thoughts on the mobile billboard.When told that many other police officers, such as Bowling Green Police Chief Mike Delaney and Western Kentucky University Police Chief Mitch Walker also participated in the protests, Ford called for all of their resignations. stanley cup The billboard accuses the sheriff of aligning himself with Black Lives Matter and Antifa, organizations that Ford refers to as terrorist organizations.Hightower is a  stanley vaso decorated veteran of the War on Terror.Hightower is a both a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient who was injured fighting terrorists in Afghanistan in 2008 while serving in the Army National Guard.
